How to Play

​1. Players can register for a Tournament for a £5 entry fee (or buy-in). To register simply go on "Tournament" and click "Register".

2. Buy-ins are pooled to make up the total Prize Money for each Tournament e.g. £5 x 10 Players = £50

3. Each Tournament runs for a limited amount of time. Check the Time Remaining in the top right box once the Tournament starts.

4. Players start with $1,000,000 (virtual dollars*) with which they can buy and sell any of the available stocks, commodities and crypto (see Trading Times below for when Exchanges are open). You can change your portfolio at any time during the game, so buy low and sell high.

5. Players can take both a long (betting on the price going up) and short position (betting on the price going down) on any of the available assets. To do the latter you simply sell more of an asset than you buy. A short position is denominated by a (-) mark under Position.

6. At the end of each Tournament, the Player(s) with the highest profit (or lowest loss) win the prize money, with the split shown under Winnings in the Standings table on the right.

7. Winnings are automatically credited to winners (see "Leaderboard") with which they can play more tournaments or ‘check out’.

*Note: At no point do Players buy or sell actual stocks and other assets. All "transactions" are for the purposes of the Game only and therefore do not constitute actual purchases of stocks or investment in assets.
